The smartphone brand OPPO has taken yet another stride towards stepping up its smartphone business by releasing a new road-map highlighting the complete list of smartphones that it is preparing to launch in the market that is eligible for Wi-Fi calling feature in India.
The list includes some of the brand’s phones that have already received Color OS 7 update in the country and the company has hinted that the phones have either already received or are likely to receive updates that will bring Wi-Fi calling feature on those phones shortly in the upcoming days with OTA or Over-the-air update.
The Wi-Fi calling feature will allow users to make and receive voice and video calls over a Wi-Fi connection instead of the cellular connection.
The list of phones that are eligible for the update in India was shared on Tuesday on the firm’s official Twitter handle and includes OPPO A9, OPPO A9(2020), OPPO Reno, OPPO Reno 2, OPPO Reno 2F, Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, Oppo A5 (2020), Oppo F9 series, Oppo F7 series, Oppo F11 series, and Oppo R17 Pro. The OPPO R15 Pro will be getting the latest ColorOS iteration that includes the Wi-Fi calling feature by end of the month of June while the Find X series owners will have to wait until late July to enjoy the feature, the company revealed.
