According to the study published in journal Nature Communications, scientists have identified a small neutralizing antibody, calling it nanobody, to fight against Covid-19. The antibody is capable of blocking SARS-CoV-2 from entering into the human cells. This antibody has the potential to develop an antiviral treatment against Covid-19. The antibodies are of the span of one-tenth the average size and are cost-effective. The researchers have said that these nanobodies present several benefits over customary antibodies. These antibodies can be harmonized in humans according to the current strategy and also have the record of hindering the respiratory infections.
