Chinese popular video app Tiktok, which was banned by the government a few months back may return back to India. SoftBank Group Corp, is looking for the bidders in India to partner with them for the TikTok’s Indian assets. The Japanese, conglomerate which owns a share in ByteDance, the parent company of Tiktok, is having talks with the crowns of the Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. and Bharti Airtel Ltd., though no comments have been made by the heads of Softbank, ByteDance, Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel regarding the same. SoftBank does need a local partner that can get the approval for the app from the Government of the country, as India had been the largest user of the Tiktok before it’s a ban.
