Johnny Depp, the famous Hollywood star has accused Amber Heard, his ex-wife for falsely accusing him of beating her. On Tuesday, the 57-year-old star, in the London High Court, had told, that actually she has struck him.
The star is suing The Sun’s publisher, News Group Newspapers, and it’s executive editor for calling him the ‘ Wife Beater‘ in an article written in April 2018. The lawyers of the paper had said that they can show that the star had beaten his wife and they can show that this claim about him was true.
The star of Pirates of the Caribbean film, in his statement, said as quoted, “For the avoidance of any doubt, I have never abused Ms. Heard, or, indeed, any other woman, in my life.”
The actor has given the evidence to the court and now Heard, ex-wife if the star is due to give the evidence to the court about the same. The lawyer of Depp, David Sherborne, said that Heard first aired the allegations about the actor in the month of May in 2016.
She said that, it is hard to think of something more than the violent claims of abuse, that she would make during the trails. The divorce of the two was finalised in 2017, after the suspension of restraining orders.
