International Business Machine (IBM) disclosed a central processing unit (CPU), which offers greater energy efficiency of processor, workload, and container consistency. This central processing unit is IBM Power 10. The instructions given by the processor are executed by the brain of the computer, which is the CPU. It does consist of electronics by Samsung as well. IBM has been working on it since the past five years and the company expects it to be out next year, in the second half. The processor built, is the first commercial processor to be built by using 7-nanometer process technology.
