Death Valley records the hottest temperature since 1913

The Death Valley recorded the highest ever temperature in 100 years, as it touched the mark of 54.4 degrees Celsius. The east Californian region recorded the maximum heat at 3.41 pm on Sunday. The region being the lowest and the driest places in the US, generally hits very high during the summer. Being the case of extreme temperature, the data needs to undergo formal review before it is officially recognised. As per the data of National Weather Service, the place observed the highest temperature of 56.7 degrees Celsius ever recorded on 10th July,1913.
