According to new studies, certain climate models that were used previously wrongly suggested the amount of CO2 absorbed by the Ocean. The new research suggests that the amount of CO2 absorbed by the ocean due to human activity is much higher than it was calculated before. The carbon dioxide that is related to the atmosphere due to human activities doesn’t directly go into the atmosphere leading it to heat up, but half of it is absorbed by the ocean. Previously the calculation of CO2 absorbed by the ocean was calculated on the basis of the surface temperature of the ocean, but the temperature of the ocean falls down while moving towards the depth. As per latest studies, the cooler the ocean the more CO2 it absorbs.
