Tencent witnessed $34 billion loss amid ban in India

The recent ban by the Indian Government on 118 Chinese apps has posed great loss to the Chinese company Tencent. Tencent is not only the developer of PUBG, but also has other gaming apps like Arena of Valor, Chess Run and the Ludo World. Other than PUBG these apps were also banned by the Government. Many gaming companies must have suffered losses, but none’s loss is greater than that of Tencent. It has suffered a loss of $34 billion in terms of market value, just one day after the ban. Among the money apps, PUBG was the most popular and money-making gaming app of the company, which had 30 million daily active users.
