US Elections 2020: While the US Presidential seat result will be a long wait, many Indian-Americans in the list has secured their massive win over their counterparts. Four of the five members have won their seats to the house of the representatives; it includes the names of Pramila Jayapal, Amri Bera, Raja Krishnamoorti and Roh Khanna who succeeded in retaining the trust of their respective constituencies.

Pramila Jayapal from Washington State defeated her rival by the margin of 69.6%, has succeeded to retain her seat for the third consecutive term.

Ami Bera defeated his Republican counterpart Buzz Paterson.

Raja Krishnamoorti from Illinois, the democrat candidate defeated his opponent by a margin of 41.8%.

Roh Khanna from California constituency defeated his Indian-American counterpart by a margin of 74.6%.

Senate wins

Jenifer Rajkumar, a Democrat candidate won her seat in the New York State Assembly.

Niraj Antani from Ohio, became the first Indian-American to win the seat from this constituency by defeating his Democratic Party counterpart.
