The series win has been historic for the Indian team as they came out winning despite the adverse situation when most of the senior players were not part of the team especially in the decider. The path to victory in the decider was set by the two debutants, Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur’s all round performance which was gracefully executed by the other two youngsters Shubman Gill and Rishab Pant.
