Just two days away from the Parliament session, the opposition has started attacking the Government for dropping the Question Hour. To keep them silent, the Parliament showed the data, according to which in 2015-2019, out of 332 hours of available Question Hour time, the members used only 133 hours and 17 minutes. As per records, only 40% of the Question hour time was utilised and rest 60% of the time was wasted by disruption. This was the allotted hour time only in Rajya Sabha. As for now, the government has agreed to go-ahead by unstarred questions, which will be 160 questions per day.
