Britannia reporting over two folds rise in consolidated profit at Rs 542.68 crore for the June quarter, following the rise in higher incomes by 26.97% to Rs. 3,514.35 crore has rewards its shareholders by sturdy dividends.
As the June quarter of the company comes out with a fat payback, it was informed that the board has approved a transient dividend of Rs.83 per share. If we look at the complete information the company will fork out Rs.1997 crore which will have the share of both promoters and shareholders. The promoters will receive the number of Rs.1,011 crore and the rest will be given to the public shareholders in the company. A two-fold rise in compressed profit is announced by the company.
