The ruler of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah took his last breath at the age of 91, on Tuesday, September 29 in US. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Anas Al Saleh, aired the news of his demise on the television. Earlier Sheikh Sabah was admitted to the hospital on July 18, 2020, for a surgery, which was declared a success by the medical staff. Sheikh Sabah took the ascension in Kuwait in 2006 and became the 50th ruler of the Al Sabha dynasty. The state of Kuwait has announced official mourning for the 40 days period and the official departments will remain closed for the next 3 days, starting from today.
