Hydroxychloroquine, the drug that was once highlighted by the American president Donald Trump to be effective in treating and preventing the spread of the Covid-19 has proved to be ineffective. Donald Trump, who earlier showed his confidence on the drug and even started taking the drug from the month of May this year, has now informed that the drug is not very effective. He said that he was taking the drug to prevent the disease, but it proved ineffective. A recent research, which was carried out to test the effectiveness of the Hydroxychloroquine, disclosed the same on Wednesday. In which the daily dose of 600mg was given to the participants, who included 125 health care workers, and out of this 4 people tested Covid-19 positive.
