The Earth has been continuously observing changing on its surface. If we look at the ice sheet on the earth, the melting of this ice sheet has increased since 1994. According to the scientists of the UK, the earth has witnessed the disappearance of the 28 trillion tonnes of ice. This melting as observed through satellites by the group of scientists will lead to an increase in the level of seawater in meters and can cause the people living in low lying areas to leave the places. The researchers have further said that the snowfall in Greenland is unable to keep pace with the melting of the ice and it will continue to melt even if the temperature stops rising in the country.
