Brodway star, Nick Cordero crumbles to COVID-19

During March end Cordero was admitted to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for the treatment of pneumonia. The very first COVID-19 test came up to be negative, though the subsequent test was positive. 

The Canadian actor was nominated for the Tony Awards and a Drama Desk Award in 2014 for his role in “Bullets Over Brodway” and also starred in Productions of “Rock of Ages”, “Waitress” and “A Bronx Tale

He married to his wife Kloots in 2017, met her when they both were performing in “Bullets over Brodway”.

She posted on her Instagram account, “My heart is broken as I cannot imagine our lives without him. Nick was such a bright light. He was everyone’s friend, loved to listen, help and especially talk. He was an incredible actor and musician. He loved his family and loved being a father and husband“. She further mentioned that the couple’s 1-year-old son, Elvis and I will miss him in everything we do, everyday.

She revealed that on 31st March her husband was in intensive care unit having hard time breathing after having diagnosed with pneumonia. Days later she informed that after carrying out the third COVID-19 test he was diagnosed positive and was responding well to the medication. In an interview with BuzzFeed news she said, “He could not get out of bed, so tired, no energy, that was really his only symptom”.

It seems like his symptoms were initially intermittent and were nowhere near to the symptoms associated with the COVID-19.
