Scientists of Japan Fujita Health University informed that the ozone layer is effective in neutralizing the coronavirus. The scientists said that ozone is an oxygen molecule that proves effective in making many pathogens inactive. According to researchers the ozone gas with a concentration of 0.05 to 0.1 parts per million is considered effective in killing the virus and doesn’t harm human beings in any way. An experiment was conducted to test the effects of the ozone on the coronavirus. A sample of the virus was kept in the ozone generated sealed chamber and it showed that the potency of the virus declined by 90%. Thus showing the way to possible use of ozone gas in the hospitals to disinfect the rooms.
