For the first time in six months, the BSE Sensex closed on the mark above 39,000. The sensex ended up with 230.04 points or 0.59 per cent. On the other hand, the NSE Nifty stimulated up to 77.35 points or 0.67 per cent. If we look at the data, IndusInd Bank remained the top gainer, which is followed by Reliance Industries, Axis Bank, Kotak Bank, Bajaj Auto and HCL tech. Bharti Airtel, Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, Maruti, NTPC, L&T and HDFC are among the companies slipping up to 2.66 per cent. Though the Sensex started with caution but has now touched as high as the 39,111.55.
