RIL lead by Ambani is the biggest wealth creator of the decade

With the record-breaking wealth addition despite the pandemic throughout the world, RIL lead by Mukesh Ambani has emerged as the biggest wealth creator for the investors in the decade, which ends today (31 st December 2020). As per study done by Economic times, with the CAGR of 13.8%, RIL has grown the wealth of its investors by Rs. 9.2 lakh crore.

Interestingly more than one third of the wealth addition took place in the year 2020 despite the Covid-19 hit economy. During the period RIL, shares rallied nearly 33% with the gain of nearly Rs. 3.2 lakh crore.

Following RIL were the TCS and the HDFC Bank shares in the second and third position adding Rs. 8.6 lakh crore and Rs. 6.8 lakh crore to the investors wealth respectively. The shares of TCS registered the CAGR of 17% while the HDFC Bank registered CAGR of 21.9% in the last 10 years. The other big wealth creators in the list are Hindustan Unilever, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Asian Paints and ICICI Bank.

The biggest gainer of the decade as per Business daily is Avanti Feeds with the CAGR of 71% i.e the shares have gone up by 214.3 times. Following in the list were Caplin Point Lab, Vaibhav Global, Alkyl Amines Chem and the Bajaj Finance.
