Neelakanta Bhanu Prakash of Hyderabad has won the first gold medal for India in the Mental Calculation World Championship at Mind Sports Olympiad, which took place in London. The 21-year-old has arisen as the fastest human calculator. Bahun is a student of St Stephen College, which comes under Delhi University and is pursuing his degrees in Mathematics (Honours). The mathematical genius has brought many laurels to his name as he holds 4 world records and 50 Limca records. The aim of the 21-year-old is to make students love mathematics and to create a Maths Lab.
