Ratan Tata was felicitated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the TATA Group by ‘ASSOCHAM Enterprise of the Century Award ‘. While praising the TATA Groups services to the nation prime minister said, the group and the ASSOCHAM has been working very hard since 100 years to strengthen India’s economy and help the common Indian.
Prime Minister Modi was addressing the foundation week of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) via video conferencing. The theme of the programme organised by ASSOCHAM was, “India’s resilience: Atmanirbhar roadmap towards $5 trillion economy”.

It is to be noted that the conglomerate will be awarded the ,”Global Visionary of Sustainable Business and Peace” award in a ceremony to be held in Dubai on December 21 by the Indo-Israel Chamber of Commerce for promoting innovation that supports sustainability and peace in the region. The planned virtual ceremony is to be attended by the senior officials from Israel, India and the UAE.
In his recent statement President of Israel-India Chamber of Commerce, Raviv Byron has said that, “Tata has done a lot for India-Israel ties. He has generously contributed towards promoting innovation that supports sustainability and has been a promoter of peace in the region, including with the Palestinians. He has visited Israel a few times which has been extremely beneficial in promoting ties between the two countries. He very well deserves this honour”.
