Addressing a book launch event, Indian conglomerate Mukesh Ambani expressed his confidence about India moving completely away from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources to meet its energy demands in the next few decades. The owner of Reliance Industries said,” India is in the right mindset to completely, in the next few decades, move away from fossil fuels to renewable energy. Be Atmanirbhar (self dependent)”.
It is to be noted that, his company owned two giant oil refineries with the massive capacity of 1.4 million barrels per day has committed to be a net zero carbon company by 2035. And has aimed to come up with a mix of affordable green and clean energy solutions like hydrogen, solar, wind, fuel cells and battery technology.
