India carrying the world’s largest vaccination drive has crossed the landmark of 1 million beneficiaries on its sixth day of inoculation. As per PIB till now 12,72,097 healthcare workers has been vaccinated against the Covid-19 through 24,397 sessions.
The top five states with maximum beneficiaries till now are 1,82,503 in Karnataka, 1,27,726 in Andhra Pradesh, 1,21,004 in Odisha, 1,02,724 in Telangana and 80,542 in West Bengal.
Enhancing its testing infrastructure, India continues to register growth on its total cumulative tests across the nation. India has crossed the 19 Cr mark as of 22nd Jan 2021. The sustained efforts of the health care works along with the supporting infrastructure have led to cumulative Positivity rate stand at 5.59% as of today.
Active caseload of the country has fallen to 1.78% of the total active cases. Presently India’s active caseload stands at 1,88,688. And with the improved recovery rate of 96.78% the total recovered cases stands at 1,02,83,708 cases.
