Amid tension along LAC the Indian Air Force (IAF) is all set to acquire the deadly HAMMER missiles for its newly arriving Rafael combat fighters. Highly Agile Modular Munition Extended Range (HAMMER) missiles are the medium range air to ground weapon system having the capacity to target any bunker or hardened shelters in varied kind of terrains including the mountains of eastern Ladakh. Its laser terminal guidance version can engage the moving targets,while the infrared terminal guidance version checks the target coordinate errors. The missile is equipped with several other key capabilities which make it a destructive package for the enemies around.
