The whole world is longing to get relief from the deadly virus and to get back to normal life. Scientists and healthcare specialists are busy finding the vaccine for the disease. The people are worried about the second wave outbreak of the coronavirus.
Amidst this, news of relief comes from the doctors of Italy. The head of the infectious disease clinic at the San Martino hospital, Dr. Matteo Bassetti, On Sunday, said that the effects of the virus are wearing and it may soon disappear like a cloud without any vaccine.
He further added the changes are seen in the pattern of infection. The one which was very powerful in the month of March and April has now weakened. The number of cases of COVID-19 in Italy has been dropped to around 300 daily which initially was 6500 per day.
But if we consider the reports of WHO, the frequency of spread of the disease is still the same. According to a report by WHO only 20% of the people suffer severely from the disease.
Another expert. Bharat Pankhania, a professor at the UK’s University of Exeter Medical School, said that the disappearance of the disease may take years and there is a need to develop a proper vaccine for the disease. The statements on the disappearance of the virus is still a big question before everyone.
