Facebook has claimed that its Artificial intelligence researchers working in collaboration with NYU school of Medicine have developed software that can predict the probability of a patient’s deteriorating health. As per claim the software is able to predict based on the chest X-rays of the patients.
While working with the academics at NYU Langone Health’s predictive analytics unit and department of radiology on research, facebook claimed that the software could help medical staff to take decisions about the patient’s possible health risks associated in near future.
Ten researchers were involved in the study, five from each side. They have developed three machine-learning models and are said to be slightly different in their working to analyse the input data.
